New Order came out with a new album recently: "Waiting for the Siren's Call." I thought back in 1998 when they renamed themselves Monaco and I bought their album, "Music for Pleasure" they were gone for good. This new album will definitely be on my summer play list. Awesome awesome ... for lack of my ability to write snarky uber-intellectual hipster reviews of albums like they do in Pitchfork (which seem to consist mostly of chatter not having anything to do with the review, but a little esoteric back-pat for the author). Along with The Bravery's new album, I will be spinning Phoenix, introduced to me by Catherine who saw them at 9:30 Club.
